The academy is motivated to the disturbed teen and its objective is to enhance them with some religious guidance along with some other resources like education, medical services and similar facilities. The academy was founded in 1964 and it is located in Utah. It is originated on certain principles and since 45 years they have been practicing it regularly. Three types of programs are exhibited in the academy; they are residential relief program, medical program and educational program. The residential program is based on entire analysis method, thus similar method is exhibited for healing all the youths with different problems. This academy organize various programs which are helpful for both struggling teen and their parents. It provides various treatment programs such as Residential treatment programs and clinical programs which are helpful to resolve the problems of kids and give them happy and peaceful life as soon as possible.

This facility is the worst possible place for you to send your child, unless of course you want them to be physically, mentally, and sexually abused. The facility is sponsored by the Mormon Church, and there are missionaries there on staff to make sure your child is indoctrinated properly.

Horrible, horrible school. I was a former student. The education received from the school was a joke. The sports and activities were regular and included such events as "wrestling with sraff because you didn't ask permission to sneeze" and "do grassdrills with a broken foor because the staff do not listen or care about the students". It was a miserable experience and only taught me to distance myself from my family because of the betrayal.

West Ridge Academy is not very safe at all. The staff treat you so poorly. I dont know how the hell that facility is still opened. I was a boy there. I experienced fear there.one of these days the truth will come out eventually. I am a Licensed social worker and facilities like that can quickly get shut down but they are in compliance with state licensing regulations. That is the only reason why there still opened.
