The above mentioned school is a therapeutic one which provides treatment to children who come here with a range of problems. Its programs are divided into three forms. Its first program is school based programs in which supportive academic and social environment are created and thus students get opportunity for learning and growth. In this school program, maximum of fifty boys are required- aged between eleven to eighteen years. The boys come with bipolar disorders, behavioral problems, depression and attachment etc.
Its next program is summer program, which has been going on for seventy years. This program is for 150 boys and girls between the age of six and eighteen years and span for over forty five days. It has 450-acres of land with wooded campus and well equipped modern facilities. It organizes a variety of activities like academics, art, water sports etc. Family workshop, group therapies are the part of this program.
Its third program is about school based services. Its consultants work with school leaders to evaluate the need of that particular school and form a strategy for action. These consultants give a menu of required services that is needed by the whole school or individual student. This service has long been providing parents the child-based consultation as well as school based family therapy.

This school heals those youths that are fighting with emotional,physical & social issues.They help teens that are facing repeated problems.here relationship between teenagers & faculty members is very strong.They organize lot of outdoor programs for their youths.

I cannot begin to say enough about how truly wonderful Wediko School is. In the late spring of 2009, our then 10-year-old son was admitted to a pysch hospital. It was his 5th admission (the first was when he was 6). Despite many years of extensive and top quality mental health care, EVERYONE (with the exception of our insurance company) felt that our son could no longer be "safe" to himself and others in an outpatient environment. We were desperate to say the least. We hired a couple who deals with placing children like our son in therapeutic schools around the country. We chose Wediko after visiting several schools. Our son transitioned from the hospital to Wediko's Summer Camp (fabulous) and then to the Wediko School which he attended for 12 months and during those 12 months, great things happened. When he left Wediko (August of 2010), he attended a local therapeutic day school where he was able to use what he learned at Wediko. After a great year at the day school he is now going to attend a public middle school. Wow! He entered Wediko as a very sick child and they "gave" us back a child who can now function in a mainstream school. And they gave us HOPE.
