Swift River is a Therapeutic Boarding School situated in Massachusetts whose lively nature surrounds the students. They offer challenging curriculum to enhance the academic, social and behavioral life of the students. The mission of this boarding school is to get teens back on their track restoring relationships, academic success, and prepare them to tackle with daily problems. The staffs at the academy are experienced and best from all around the country who serves students and parents in the best effective manner.
The programs at this academy are built upon the therapeutic wilderness experience and earlier treatment success. Pathways is the orientation portion of the program at the Academy. It is designed to ease the treatment process such as wilderness therapy program, residential treatment program and inpatient program. They organize the school highly structured with times for classes, food, therapy, exercise, outing and sleep. The students get opportunity to discover new things and new ways and use them as their strength in this new environment.
Without academic, any school is useless. Academic is the key factor of this boarding school, whose main goal is to reunite the students with academic success. It offers challenging curriculum to the students to enhance their social, behavioral, emotional and physical life. During social time, students get opportunity for various activities like games, sports, yoga, hiking, art, etc. they also get chance to go to church during holidays as religion is one of the main value at this school. Students also learn the services that are important tradition at academy. Students can be found fortifying playgrounds, rebuilding homes and working in animal shelters.
