Above mention Resource contains the complete information about the positive changes that a dog can bring in life of a troubled teen. There are some academies today that are making use of a dog therapy now days but in my knowledge this is the first academy who has adopted this technique. They are trying to prove that when teens are in the contact of nature, and train a dog they are more teachable. Here the students increase in their ability to concentrate when they begin caring for a dog.. The dog handlers are here to care for the dogs and to trained them so that they can not harm to the teenagers and for their proper training.
The site also contains the information that the teenagers when returned back to their home from academy than their behavior doesn’t becomes rude and arrogant again because in this academy they are not putting under any force that if they perform well than they will be rewarded or if bad than they will be consequence. Here they had described about two academies one is Tipton that is for boys and another is meadowlark that is for girls.
The dogs which are used in the academy are produced by their own breeding session. Before accepting any donated dog for program they are tested such as health test, temperament test etc. They put puppies and dogs in foster home unless and until they got completely trained. The training which is being provided to dog is to perform the task like narcotics search, to detect the bomb, to pick up the object and give it to its owner and to open doors etc.

Its an academy for teen eager girls who have lost their path and moved their life to darkness.This academy provides help to those ladies to make them bring back their confidence and reach their goals and ambition.

This academy is helpful to resolve the behavioral problems such as: Depression, anger, no emotional control, lying, stealing and skipping school and many more. This academy provides experienced and certified counselors that are helpful to resolve the teenage problems and try to make them perfect as soon as possible.

Take this from a previous student at Meadowlark Academy. It is not all what its cracked up to be. The higher staffa are terrible and seriously do not really care how you feel inside. The only way in which girls progress through the program is learnign what they want to hear and telling it too them which is manipulating them and easy for troubled teens to do. Take it from someone who was there for 1 year and 6 months, it is not worth the money here. It is overly priced for low quality of care and ridiculous punishments and attention. Out of all the girls who were there in the time I was, which is around 40 or so. They are almost all right back into their bad habits within a few months. About 75% of them have recently had children after they left. They are stil stealing and lying, many have been sent back to other rehabs and all. Danielle McClendon, Vicki Copple, Melissa Conn, Mandi Parks, Majesta Pollett and many others are absolute horendous! They do not care about anything but the money. The majority of the staff with exception of 3 members are paid minimum wage...so where is the other $1000s a month going to? When there is 27 girls there and parents are paying around $2000-$5000 a month there, that is some serious cash on a monthly basis. Don't forget the $7000-$9000 they charge you for the first month. Dont forget that they charge you $50 everytime your daughter has to go to the doctor minimum. Or the $400 they charge you to drive your daughter to the airport, or the gifts and presents and cards you should send at least 4 times a week to your daughter. Don't forget the fact that they charge you for snacks and shopping trips when the girls get high enouch in phase. This place is a ripoff and not worth your time AT ALL!!!
