Horizon academy runs with the mission to help youths to build strong character, positive self-esteem, develop responsibilities, decision-making skills and improve family relationship. They offers holistic program to recover the teens from their mental, social, behavioral and emotional issues. The school enrolls students ages 13 to 17 who have some level of academic deficiency. They allow students to take as time they need to complete their task and show their skills. The faculty monitors individual student’s growth in learning at an individual level. They have most recent development tools and techniques in educational content.

Students have a choice-based system, using which students can receive positive and negative consequences for their daily choices and personal decisions. With self-awareness, positive attitude and hard work, students’ progress in their fields; this improves their additional responsibilities and rights. To grow and promote emotional awareness, students have the opportunity to attend emotional-growth seminars. Through this, students gain the tools to create a successful future as they establish and increase self-esteem, respect, confidence, integrity and motivation.

In addition, extra curricular activities are also organized to engage students in physical education daily for at least one hour that includes volleyball, basketball, stretching, dance, strength training and interval training, and are adapted according to weather conditions. They believe that safety and security of a child should be the first priority. So, the staffs at the academy are trained through critical knowledge and skills.
