Covenant House is the largest privately furnished agency in different states of America, which aims to help homeless kids. It is incorporated in 1972, offers food, cloth, shelter and care to homeless and casual needy. They offer several treatment programs like medical facility, educational and vocational program, and drugs abuse treatment to help these children. These facilities are provided to the teens of several parts of America and Canada. They fight for the rights of young people, speak for those who do not have their own voice, who have physically, mentally, socially or emotionally abused.

There are five basic principles on which this agency runs: Immediacy, Sanctuary, Value communication, Structure and Choice. They meet with the basic needs of the homeless kids, i.e., cloth, shelter, and food. They provide place of safety and security to them, away from the danger or fear of streets. The school teaches them the value of relationship, trust, respect and honesty as the street people lack in these things. They give the structure to their personality to build a positive future. They encourage the young people to believe in themselves and promote confidence.

It invites the people who are interested in challenging the career opportunities and help homeless kids in need. They will be employed to various houses of the agency spread over 20 cities of US, America and Canada. There are several plans started by this agency to assist helpless youth like Crisis Care, Nineline Crisis hotline to help parents and their children by giving them information, meeting street and van outreach consultant, right of channel, mother/child, healthcare services, pastoral ministry, education and job training.

To make difference in the life of kids, social measures are taken and operations are started to raise public alertness. They speak on the behalf of the young people living on the street.
