Previously I was worried for the future of my daughter but now she is studying in one of the reputed college after completing her secondary education from this school.

Bromley Brook is THE LAST place you would want to see your daughters if they have emotional disorders. Bromley over medicates for one, and when I left the program, I was on 8 medications for my Bipolar, and when I got home, my Dr. said my meds combind caused seizures, strokes, and heart attacks. The place is a joke considering its ran by a theater major (Laura Mac). It's not a place for therapy and guidence, it's a place of confindment. They have group punishments on a regular basis while getting yelled at. There are 2 hallways with over 100 girls packed. The staff picks favorites, and allow them more privliges while other girls are getting punished for the same acts. They do not care about one's individual needs, they concentrate on disipline only. Groups are ran by friends of staff member's with clearly no experience in thereapy what so ever. I went in there emotionally distraut and came out as an emotional wreck. I am scarred for life for what I've been through in there and seeking therapy for it still. One time I didn't clean my room one and they took all my clothes away for 3 weeks! I was forced to live in my school uniform. When my mother was finding out about the things they had been putting me through, she tried for months to pull me out of the program but they would not let me leave. I was there for a year and I have to say it's such an unfair program. It's not a boarding school, it's a group home!
