It has been observed that the camp is a wilderness camp, which aims to provide troubled students behavioral, emotional, intellectual and spiritual realms. The troubled teens having a fearful, hopeless and destructing background are taught to improve their confidence level as well as their interest in life. It aims to come out of feeling of worthlessness. They aim at preparing students to return to traditional school settings.

The students live together in small teams, enhancing behavioral and social skills while working towards common goal. The out door atmosphere helps them to think openly and widely so that they can explore their skills and interests. They provide an effective way to change student’s attitude and life.

It has been seen that most of the troubled students have problem learning in traditional classrooms so they focus on learning by doing i.e. an informal way of learning. Each student is taught to use their academic knowledge in daily routines and work. For example, students are taught to use their mathematical skills in building tents. Meal planning and cooking helps them to understand about nutrition and home economy.
