There are various summer camps, boarding schools etc in Maryland which assist troubled teens suffering from physical, mental and social problems. Educational, religious and social issues are the major area of concern at all these centers to develop the full potential of irritated youths.

A recent method known as mentoring is developed by social worker now a day to help troubled teens. This method is especially beneficial for child from single parent home where parents are unstable.

The idea of mentoring is based on guiding the youths toward the right direction. Social and psychological support is given to the adolescents that they cannot get at their homes. The overall process of mentoring is governed by stable adults.

The successfully running mentoring programs for struggling teens are:-
