3. Compulsive sexual behavior is found to be most common among teens. I would like to elaborate my knowledge regarding this topic so will any one please tell me what is sexual addiction? Teens fighting with sexual addiction can suffer from several negative behaviors and I would like to know about them? Can teens fighting with sexual addiction suffer from any diseases? How can sexual addiction be treated? Are there any medicines available in our country for treating sexual addiction?

Sexual addiction is that in which a person has obsessions with sex. Multiple affairs, cybersex, unsafe sex and sexual harassment are the behavior of sexual addiction. Yes, it may be possible teens fighting with sexual addiction can suffer from several negative behaviors or other disease. Lots of biological risk factors associated with sexual addiction such as vascular disease and hormone levels. Lots of therapy programs such as individual therapy, marital and family therapy are helpful for sex addicts. Support groups and 12 step therapy programs along with medication such as: Prozac and Anafranil are also available to get rid of sexual addiction problems.

Some of the negative behavior which such type of teens generally face includes Regular use of pornography, Multiple affairs, Cyber sex, Unsafe sex, Sexual harassment, Anonymous sexual partners, Obsessive dating through personal ads and many more. Yes the teens who are victims of sexual addiction can fight with so many disorders and life taking diseases such as obsessive compulsive disorders, manic depression and narcissistic personality disorders as well as sexually transmitted diseases, HIV, AIDS and many more. This sex related problems can be treated through some medications as well as by attending some educational programs related to healthy sexuality or by family therapy and individual counseling. Apart from this, 12 step recovery programs and support group are also available in our country for treating sexual addicts effectively.
