My teen has been involved in some bad gang and he donot listento me now. He also runs away from home if any family member says him anything. Please suggest how I can get my child back.

Mostly, runaway children don't have any attachment with their family members. So it is very necessary to create a bond of love and affection with them. This will force them to think about their family people before running. If all this don't work, send him to some healing center.

It is quite difficult to deal such teen but by following few steps he can be corrected. The parents should give him chance to speak about why he has done this. Don’t punish him much. Be calm, try to fetch out the solution of this problem so, that he will never repeat his mistake. Educate him that this running away behavior can be risky. Make him understand that you (parents) are there to help out. Parents can take help from the teacher or any educational consultant.

Most teen gang come from broken homes and are looking for more family security or they think gangs will provide them things they value most. Encourage your teen to create a positive relationship with family members. Give as much attention as possible to your teen. Help your teen focus on her goals for the future. Be a positive influence for your teen.
