Meaning of cyber stalking
I have a habit of surfing internet and spend most of my time on social sites. I want to know is there any probability for me to be a victim of cyber bullying by surfing social sites. What precautions should I take to avoid cyber bullies? I heard cyber bullies are of various categories. Which type of cyber bullying is most dangerous? What is the meaning of the term cyber stalking? Can anyone tell me is there any law regarding cyber bullying crime that punishes cyber bullies?

It is not necessary but may be possible. Precautions to avoid cyber bullying are: don’t encourage anyone to use the internet to bully someone, don’t send emails that threaten a person, don’t send angry messages online, follow schools rules about online behavior and follow family rules about online behavior. Cyberbullying by proxy is the most dangerous type of cyberbullying. Adult cyber bullies is called cyber stalking. Different states have different laws of cyberbullying.

Yes, there is a probability. Cyber-bullying can be avoid by not registering on online-communities such as face-book, twitter etc. Passwords of email-account should not be disclosed to any one. The Power-Hungry or Revenge of the Nerds is the most dangerous types of cyber-bullies. Cyber stalking: It is the method that is used by the internet or any other electronic mode with the intention to insult anybody that may include monitoring and threatening etc. Yes, there are anti-cyber-bullying laws that are defined by different U.S. states. You should take some of the precautions in order to avoid cyber bullies such as never pass personal information to strangers through net, avoid using real names in spite of that use screen name, never respond to harasser, always keep record of bully mails which you have received and take a hard copy of that, make a complaint about cyber bullies and try to get their details. Cyber bullying by proxy is found to be most dangerous kinds of cyber bulling. Cyber stalking is generally regarded as use of internet or some other electronic means in order harass or stalk an organization, an individual or group of individuals through the ways of identity theft, monitoring, false accusations, damage to data or equipment, gather information in order to harass etc. Many states of US has passed some cyber bully laws according to which school authorities and officials can take actions against cyber bullies and can punish them for such behavior.

Yes, there can be the chances of cyber bullying if will not be careful while internet surfing. It is better when you go to cyber cafe you should be careful to logout before leaving the system. It is better to keep your username password long and mixture of numbers and words, because it is hard to hack long password. Direct attack, cyber bullying by proxy and vengeful angel are the two type of cyber bullying. Cyber stalking means to send absurd messages through internet ,or any other electronic mode with the intension to insult anybody that may include monitoring and threatening and many more. Yes, there any law regarding cyber bullying crime that punishes cyber bullies.
