My kid used to eat in excess not because of hunger but due to stress.After eating she vomits; that is also self-induced.

I thing your kid is struggling with eating disorder, bulimia. You should first go to the medical test to diagnoses the problem. There are many treatment centers and medical help centers that provide treatments for the eating disorders. Treatment centers offer therapies and counseling along with the medication to treat this problem. Psychotherapies play an important role to overcome from this problem. Treatment centers provide intense therapy to identify with the harm they are doing and continues to keep in detrimental eating behavior and provide them appropriate treatments.

It shows that your son is suffering from Bulimia. Try to reduce his stress; if he would beat his stress, then he will be fine. Take the help of therapist; he will guide how to change his thoughts and solve emotional problems. Medications such as Fluoxetine, Paroxetine and Sertraline are helpful in reduction of Depression, obsessions and compulsions.
