Lack of concentration, weak memory, irritability, over confidence, sleeping problem, high temper, less social, absurd eating and carelessness are some important signs of people facing mental health illness. Somatic treatments and psychotherapeutic treatments are two important ways of treating mental illness. Somatic treatment includes medication and electroconvulsive therapy. Psychotherapy, family therapy, group therapy and individual therapy comes under psychotherapeutic treatment measures.

One can also take the help of their doctors or counselors before choosing these programs for their teens. They will provide them effective treatments according to the conditions of their child. However residential treatment centers are quite effective for such teens as 24 hour monitor services and therapies based programs take them out of all of their problems within short duration of time.
